In choosing the right roofing system we take into consideration numerous factors which include:

Single-Ply Roofing

EPDM

Single-ply ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) roofing systems are based on a high-performance synthetic rubber compound that provides outstanding weathering characteristics in climates worldwide. From office buildings and distribution warehouses to hospitals and schools.
EPDM roof membranes can be installed fully adhered, mechanically attached or ballasted.

PVC Systems

PVC is flexible, thermoplastic membrane manufactured using an ultraviolet-resistant polyvinyl chloride. PVC can be installed to ensure plasticizer retention, delivering a pliable and durable sheet with excellent weathering characteristics and resistance to harsh chemicals and industrial pollutants.  PVC roofing membranes are the ideal long-term solution for roofs that demand high performance at a lower life cycle cost. PVC is a great choice for restaurant or commercial buildings.

TPO Systems

Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) single-ply roofing membranes are among the fastest growing commercial roofing products and have gained broad industry acceptance for their many performance and installation advantages. As demand increases for heat-reflective and energy efficient roofing systems, TPO single-ply roofing membranes continue to provide exceptional resistance to ultraviolet, and ozone exposure.

TPO roof membranes can be installed fully adhered, mechanically attached, or induction welded.

BUilt-Up Roofing

Built up roof membranes, referred to by the acronym BUR, have been in use in the U.S. for more than 100 years. These roof systems are commonly referred to as “tar and gravel” roofs. BUR systems generally are composed of alternating layers of bitumen and reinforcing fabrics that create a finished membrane. The number of plies in a cross section is the number of plies on a roof: The term “four plies” denotes a four ply roof membrane construction. Sometimes, a base sheet, used as the bottommost ply, is mechanically fastened. Built up roofs generally are considered to be fully adhered if applied directly to roof decks or insulation.

Metal Roofing

Herzog Roofing  offers a variety of sustainable, dependable and environmentally friendly metal roofing system options. Available in a wide range of applied finishes and materials. All Herzog Roofing metal products are fabricated and installed as per ES-1 guidelines.

There are three general categories of metal roof systems used for steep-slope roofing applications: architectural metal panel, structural metal panel and metal shingle panels. Generally, architectural metal panel roof systems are water shedding and are intended for use on steep slope roofs. Structural metal panel roof systems are used on low and steep slope roofs. Structural metal panel roof systems can be used on low slope roofs because of their hydrostatic, or water barrier, characteristics.
